A Chartered Accountant from Puttur Mr. B. Aravinda Krishna was the resource person. He said, ‘The introduction of GST would be a significant step in the reform of indirect taxation in India. The GST would lead to easy administration and enforcement. From the consumer point of view, the biggest advantage would be in terms of reduction in the overall tax burden. It also helps to have free movement of goods from one state to another.’
