To generate interest, knowledge and enthusiasm among high school students and public, M.Sc. Physics students of our College had conducted Science Model Exhibition at Jyothi High School, Peraje, Sulliya on 15th November 2018. This programme was organized by MSW Department of our college in collaboration with Peraje Grama Panchayath, Kodagu. The programme marked the inauguration of Philo-Vikasa by Fr. Rithesh Rodrigues, under which a series of community-oriented programmes will be conducted throughout the academic year. The inaugural ceremony was presided by Smt. Jayalaxmi Dharneedhar, President, Peraje Grama Panchayath. Dr. Jnanesh S.A., President, Jyothi Vidyasangh; Shri Purushotham K., Headmaster, Jyothi High School; Dr. E. Deepak Disilva, Co-ordinator, P.G. Department of Physics and Smt. Prathibha, P.G. Department of Social work were guests.

School students from the neighbourhood of Peraje high school actively participated in this programme. Vidya Saraswathi of 2nd M.Sc. Physics gave a talk on “General Science”, which focussed on scientific aspects in everyday life. Sindhu D.G. and group performed various experiments which are aimed to make science appear simpler and interesting to the school students.
