The Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 indicates that disabled persons should have access to education at all levels. In accordance with the UGC guidelines special facilities such as ramps and special toilets were included in the Campus and other necessary changes to suit the special needs of differently-abled persons has been adopted.
Awareness programmes for faculty members of the College about the approach towards differently-abled students is provided regularly. The College has always given special attention and priority to make their life easy at the Campus. The new constructions in the Campus address the accessibility issues pertaining to disability.
The day to day nees of Disability abled Persons (DAPs) are taking care by the Internal Committee of the College. The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of the College ensures the natural justice for students from marginalised sections of the society.
