A Guest Talk on ‘Self Esteem’ held at SPC Puttur


Women Empowerment Cell, St Philomena College Puttur organised a guest talk on ‘Self Esteem’ on February 26, 2016 in college auditorium. Prof. Laveena Nancy Pinto, lecturer, Department of Social Work was the resource person. She said, ‘Self esteem is important to protect children and adolescents against mental distress and despondency, enabling them to cope adequately with difficult and stressful life situations.’

Principal Prof. Leo Noronha presided over the function. Prof. Venkateshwari, Convenor of Women Cell welcomed the gathering. Ms. Varsha compered the programme.
