Two of the teams who have qualified for state level science exhibition for degree students 2012, organized by Karnataka State Science and Technology academy , Department of collegiate education and Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat have participated in the competition held at Karnataka Science college Dharwad on 5th and 6th January 2013. Rashmi K. and Brinda have secured second place in the competition while Namratha G.N. and Suraj joseph lobo secured consolation prize.

Ten of our B.Sc. students have participated in the Analyst-2013, a national level intercollegiate competition conducted by St. Aloysius College Mangalore on 25th January 2013 and received overall runners up trophy. Preetham Castelino of I.B.Sc. won the first  Prize in the Event Photography. Jostin Vinroy D’Costa of I B.Sc won the second  Prize in the seminar competition and Rakshith K. and Anvitha of III B.Sc. won the second Prize in the event Analysis and Aptitude test.

College team consisting of nine  B.Sc. Students have participated in the Scientica 2013, a state level intercollegiate science competition conducted by Canara College Mangalore during 28th and 29th January 2013.

Our college team consisting of eight B.Sc. students Participated in the state level inter collegiate Chemistry related competitions on 2nd February 2013, conducted by the Department of Chemistry, NITK Surathkal. The team won the first prize in documentary event . Anvitha K.J won the first prize in Rangoli event. Anvitha K.J and Nisha A. won the second prize in wealth out of waste event. Divyaprabha T. and Nish A. won the second Prize in the model making event.

 

Namratha G.N and Arpitha K.K. of 3rd B.Sc. have participated in the Inter-Collegiate Science Quiz Competition held in the department of material science on 8th February 2013under the auspices of Material Science Forum, Mangalore University .
